Winter Concert, Black History Month, Testing

Principal’s Message

Good afternoon,

It has been another busy weekend at Deal.

Students and families joined a group of National Park Service "Weed Warriors" in an effort to rid Fort Reno park of invasive vines that are endangering trees.

Members of the Math Club members participated in Saturday's District Math Counts competition! Students trained all year on the Sprint round (how many problems can you do in 30 minutes?), the Target round (can you solve creative problems with a twist?), and the Team round (can you work together to solve problems?). A great time was had by all. Members of the team include Maura C., Henry C., Veronica R., Luisa R., Zivana V., Elena V.Z., Emmanuel A., and, Nebe O. A special thanks goes out to our coach Ms. Alvarado for her work to make the competition happen.

Deal cheer team participated in the DCIAA Cheer Regional Showcase at Coolidge SHS. We are looking forward to the competition in March.
