Why Deal?
Deal is a great place to work, teach, and learn! As an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IB MYP) school serving approximately 1,500 students from all over DC in 6th through 8th grades, we strive to provide an excellent education for every student in our care. Teachers work collaboratively with their content and grade level teams to build engaging units with real world connections and applications.
Teachers are encouraged and supported in creative thinking about helping students grow in to future leaders. Beyond the classroom, students learn through trips, projects, guest speakers, clubs, teams, and community service opportunities. Deal’s community is incredibly supportive of this approach and our students have access to unforgettable opportunities on a daily basis!
