PARCC & DC Science Assessments – Chancellor Ferebee’s Letter to Families

All DC public Schools will administer the PARCC (all grades) & DC Science (8th grade) assessments during the month of May.  Most testing will take place in the morning and families are asked to avoid scheduling appointments for students the weeks of May 1st and May 8th.  Make-up testing will take place throughout the month of May as needed.  Data from the PARCC and DC Science assessments will be used to guide instructional decisions and scheduling for support classes.
