Community Service Club (7th and 8th Graders)
Students who need community service hours for NJHS or who are looking for a way to give back, are encouraged to join the Community Service Club. Club members will create cards and other visual arts focused on holidays, themes, affirmations, words of encouragement and other positive inspirations for children and the elderly. Each month your creations will be mailed to children’s hospitals, treatment centers and elder homes. The club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 until 4:30 pm in R111 from March 7 until May 18. Contact Ms. Andrews (alana.andrews@k12.dc.gov) for more information.
