Jackson-Reed (Formerly Known as Wilson) High School Course Selection
On Tuesday, March 29, during 6th period, all 8th-grade students will receive a Jackson-Reed (formerly known as Wilson) High School Course Request form. Jackson-Reed has provided Deal with a 23-minute pre-recorded video to guide students through the course selection process. Families can get started with the process prior to March 29.
Below you will find a pre-recorded video, course request form, and additional documents to assist families in completing the course request form. Please take time to review your selections as a family and submit completed form to your student's homeroom teacher.

Form Submission:
Course Request Form requires a parent signature prior to submission.
Students must turn in completed Jackson-Reed Course Request forms to homeroom teachers.
The 8th-grade team with the most forms submitted on time will win a prize.
The deadline to turn in the Jackson-Reed Course Request forms to homeroom teachers is April 7.
Ms. Monkou will collect forms from homeroom teachers on April 7. Forms not turned in by the deadline are considered late and will result in course placement based on available academic data and course availability.
If a student will not attend Jackson-Reed next school year, they must complete the form by adding a checkmark next to, "Another DCPS high school/Charter/Independent School." Also, students must specify what High School they will be attending.
April 8 -Ms. Monkou will turn in all Course Selection forms to Jackson-Reed High School.
