Books for Senegal

Project Leader: Caitlin Daniels, Alice Deal IB Coordinator

At a sister IB school in Dakar, Senegal, students are working to create a small library for the school. Currently there are not enough books available for a full library. Students there are looking to grow their library of all genres of books appropriate for young adults. The goals is to build a space in which students can relax and dive into books without the worries of paying. Students want the library to be a safe haven for those who enjoy reading for years to come.

Desired books include English literature including cartoon books, mangas, and young adult novels.
