Upcoming Statewide Assessment Information

DCPS students will engage in in-person assessments for a variety of required statewide assessments this spring. We have almost completed the first one - ACCESS, which will conclude on March 21st.  

The DC Cape schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday, April 29, Wednesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 1: DC Cape Math (all students)

  • Friday, May 2, Monday May 5 and Tuesday, May 6: DC Cape ELA (all students)

  • Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9: DC Cape Science (8th grade only)

Please consider these dates as you make appointments for your student(s). We need all students to be in school and on time on those assessment days. Students will have an opportunity to engage in practice tests during Advisory on April 1 and April 8.
