Summer of Soul @ Deal

In 1979, President Jimmy Carter declared that June would be Black Music Month. The goal was that this would be a month set aside to recognize the incredible influence that Black music has had on the US and the world.  In celebration of Black Music Month, we will host a showing of Summer of Soul with a Q & A with consulting producer and Deal parent, Bryan Greene on June 13 from 4:30 until 7:30 pm in the Deal Multi-purpose Room.  Summer of Soul is described as part music film, part historical record created around an epic event that celebrated Black history, culture, and fashion.   Please RSVP HERE.
