Congratulations to our Deal Spelling Bee champions! After a homeroom bee and a school-wide written test, three champions claimed the winning spots in a verbal bee. Deal’s top spellers are 8th graders Max Van Leeuwen and Malcolm McIntyre and 6th grader Lena Voss. Max, Malcolm, and Lena will represent Deal at the intermediate bee in early February.
