Scrabble Club
The Deal Scrabble Club is back for another year of two-letter words and triple-word scores. Students learn the finer points of America’s classic word game and compete in local tournaments and the annual North American School Scrabble Championship. The club will meet on Mondays after school in the cafeteria and is led by former Deal parent Stefan Fatsis, the author of the book Word Freak about the world of competitive Scrabble. An introductory meeting will be held on Monday, September 16. All grade levels are encouraged to join!
