Family Conferences are March 14

Deal will host IN PERSON conferences on Thursday, March 14th from 12-7pm. Please note that parking at Deal will be challenging and plan to arrive early enough to transition into the building in time for your appointment. Be on the lookout for an email reminder from the PTCFast appointment system early this week with a reminder of your time/location.

The structure for conferences will differ by grade-level:

Families of 6th and 7th Grade Students: Student-Led Conferences: Families will make one appointment (15 minutes) with their student’s Advisory teacher. Students will work with their Advisor in advance of conference day to lead a discussion of their goals, progress, and achievements. Students must attend the conference with their family member(s).

Assistant Principals, Counselors, Deans, and Social Workers will be available in their offices on conference day to support families that have specific concerns not addressed by the Student-led Conference format.

Families of 8th Grade Students: Families may make appointments to meet with teachers (5 minute appointments) as well as counselors and social workers (15 minute appointments). Students are encouraged to attend with their family member(s) but will not use the student-led model.
