Reading Inventory Assessment

Deal students will take the Reading Inventory assessment in ELA classes (Monday - Wednesday). This is a DCPS required diagnostic used to identify the specific skills each student needs to develop, identify each student’s areas of strength, and measure academic growth throughout the school year. Teachers use the data from both assessments to inform instruction.  Students who are more than two grade-levels below may be placed in a reading support class.
