Model UN
Congratulations to the 22 Deal Model UN delegates who participated in the Model UN Conference hosted by the National Cathedral School on Saturday, February 8. Students enjoyed the small committees, fantastic dialogue, resolution writing, and some unforgettable crisis moments. In this conference students discussed Cancel Culture, the Vampire Diaries, AI, Refugees’ Rights to Asylum and Resettlement, Preventing Corruption in Law Enforcement and Society, International Influence and Interference in Foreign Government Elections and Politics, and The Regulation of Private Arms Suppliers during Wartime. Deal delegates for this conference were: Kira Krainak, Alaina Jones, Nora Cinque, Leila Lipton, Stella Johnson, Clara Antunes, Rohan Tatlow, Owen Kunce , Evie Siegel, Danil Smolar, Simon Mitchell, MJ Webb, Casey Flax, Phoebe Ricksecker, Alexander Elton-Melzi, Liam Sheives, Evan Tonolli, Wesley Majestic, Jake Rich, Caroline Kern, Evelyn O’Flahtery-Horr, and Cole Epstein.
