Grading Policy: Term 1 Mid-Point is September 26

The Term 1 midpoint is September 26. This means that all missing work from the first half of the advisory is due by 3:30 pm on September 26. Teachers will remind students of this and support them with identifying missing assignments during our first Academic Advising lesson on Thursday, September 19th. 

Background: DCPS is implementing a new grading and reporting policy for SY24-25. While many aspects of the policy remain similar to past practices, there are key changes as they related to the acceptance and grading of late work as well as "re-takes." You can watch a video about the new policy here.
