Family Conferences October 6th

Deal will host family conferences on Thursday, October 6th from 12:00 noon until 7:00 pm. Families will have the opportunity at attend and informal meet-and-greet (12:00 -12:30pm) or make an appointment for an individual conference later in the day.

The purpose of the meet and greet is to provide an opportunity for families whose students are doing well to chat with teachers and hear about general updates. The meet and greet also supports families of students who are struggling by allowing more time for those families to meet with teachers.

Families whose students need support are required to schedule a conference. Individual conferences with teachers (5-minute appointments) as well as counselors and social workers (15-minute appointments) will be available by appointment beginning at 12:00 noon tomorrow (Monday, September 26). The appointment system is available in English and Spanish, and families may request conference interpretation by stating the language need in the special request field.
