Deal National Junior Honor Society Application Deadline

The National Junior Honor Society deadline is fast approaching! There are still 278 students who have not submitted their Extracurricular Club Verification forms and the deadline is only 2 weeks away (June 1, 2023). We are also missing hundreds of Community Service forms, particularly for the 8th graders who were inducted last year. Please note that in order to be honored in the NJHS Induction & Pinning Ceremony on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 6:30 pm in the Deal MS auditorium, you must have submitted all required documents in the NJHS Canvas Course page: 

  • 15 hours of community service (see "Community Service Verification Forms") 

  • 1 Extracurricular Club (see "Extracurricular Club Verification and Reflection Form) 

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA for the whole school year (no form for this; verified by school counselor) 

Late submission of your program requirements means that you will not be able to participate in the ceremony on June 6 because we will not have time to process your forms in time for the ceremony.
