Deal Debate Update

Congratulations to Estephania Mora and Fernanda Menna Barreto el Dib who represented Deal in the National Tournament of Spanish Speaking.  These two students were the first to participate a tournament where Spanish is the primary language.    These two amazing students wrote cases on the Cuban peoples’ cultural and political revolutions of the past, present, and future.  Even more impressive they debated all of their rounds against high school debaters from Boston, Minnesota, and DC.  Deal’s team ended the tournament with a 2-1 record with Estephania recognized as the 8th speaker in the tournament!  Shout out to Mr. Stroud and Ms. Grimm for their hard work with our debaters!
