Deal Black Student Union

Join the Deal Black Student Union (BSU) on Friday, August 25 at Fort Reno for an interactive discussion of the African American Fort Reno community displaced during the late 1920s to build a new Junior High School (Alice Deal) and a high school (Woodrow Wilson).  Our discussion will be led by Historian Neil Flanagan, who is currently working on a book about the impacts of American urban planning on the neighborhoods of Washington, D.C. during the first decades of the 20th Century.
