Congratulations NHD Participants

Congratulations to all NHD students who submitted their project to DC’s Citywide contest!  Three projects placed and were announced this past Thursday at the online awards ceremony!

  • Ellington Hunt (8th grade), “Sam Cooke on the Race Frontier”, Individual Exhibit Board, placed third and is an alternate to Nationals in June.

  • Lila Noti (7th grade), “Mary Beth Tinker: At the Frontier of Students Rights”, Individual Website, placed third and is an alternate to Nationals in June.

  • MaryJane Webb (6th grade) and Elina Hart (6th grade), “Writing a New Frontier of Education”, Group Documentary, placed second and is an alternate to Nationals in June!

CONGRATULATIONS Ellington, Lila, MaryJane and Elina!!!!

We celebrate all of our NHD Club members—their hard work, successes, and support of one another!
