Congratulations MUN
Congratulations to the 20 Model UN Deal participants in their first conference of the year: the Holton Arms Model UN (HAMUN) Conference held on Saturday, October 14 at Holton-Arms. Delegates participated in committees about: Addressing the use of lethal autonomous weapon systems (LAWS) and other AI weapons, Sustainable Development in Space Exploration, Establishing Preparedness Protocols for Epidemics and Pandemics, Protection of Coral Reefs, Affordable technology and its benefit to improving education, Child Labor in the agricultural industry, Global Hunger epidemic in relation to the climate crisis, Impact of Private Military Security Contractors on Global Security (mercenaries), and Removing Tangible Barriers for Children to Escape Poverty.
