Congratulations MUN

Congratulations to the 11 Deal Model UN delegates who participated in the Model UN Conference hosted by the National Cathedral School on Saturday, February 4.  Students enjoyed the small committees, fantastic dialogue, and resolution writing.  In this conference students discussed The Political Status of Kurdistan , Chinese Economic Investment in African Countries, The Role of Religion in Public Education, and Monitoring the Control of Biological Weapons. 

Deal delegates for this conference were:  Masha Pavlova, Owen Kunce, Maya Karson, Sadie Bertania, Finn O’Neill, Mary Jane Webb, Sophie Katz, Elina Hart, Aurora Felton, Alexandra Ezrow, and Ethan Stites.  Special shout out to Masha and Maya who each earned verbal commendations and to Sophie and Finn who each earned Honorable Mention.  Way to go Deal Delegates!
