Conference Sign Ups Are Live
Deal will host student-led conferences on Thursday, October 10 from 12:00 - 7:00 pm. During conferences, students will lead a discussion with their family member(s) and their advisor. Students will use Advisory sessions ahead of conference day to reflect on the start of their year, set goals, and prepare for leading the conference.
Beginning Wednesday, September 26, Advisors will send families the sign-up website and their specific "entry code." The online appointment system is available in English and Spanish and requires an email account. For support signing up for a conference, please contact your student's Advisor.
Student-led Conferences (SLCs) are an opportunity where students lead a confersation with their families about their learning process. When students are a part of the conference process, families and teachers get to hear directly from them which in turn helps us to better understand how students learn and where we can give them the tools they need to succeed and thrive.
Families are welcome to email teachers individually to schedule a meeting throughout the school year.
