Cell Phones, Smart Watches, and Electronic Devices

  • During school hours (8:10 am - 3:15 pm) all cellphones / smart watches / electronic devices must be turned off.

  • All electronic devices must be turned off and placed inside their backpack once students have cleared security.

  • Devices and accessories (earphones, chargers, speakers, etc.) must be placed in the backpack as well. Students must secure their cellphone / accessories in their locked locker during the school day.

  • Students will be given permission to use a classroom phone or the Welcome Center phone to contact a parent/guardian if needed.

  • At no time will Deal MS or its staff be responsible for theft, loss or damage to cellphones or other electronic devices brought onto school property.
