Black History Month @ Deal

February is dedicated as Black History Month, honoring the triumphs and struggles of African Americans throughout U.S. history.  Black History Month was the brainchild of noted historian Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans. Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month.

During the week of February 6 - 10, we will celebrate HBCUs.  Students, families, and staff are welcome to share their ideas for making the week special.

Happy 85th Anniversary Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated!
