ADMUN Conference

Congratulations to the amazing ADMUN Staff who hosted our annual  Alice Deal Model UN Conference on Saturday, March 16 for more than 130 area middle school students from nine schools.  The staff hosted five committees:  Access to Internet for Education (Deal only committee), Ethical Tourism, High Speed Rail in the US, Shark Poaching, and an Ad Hoc Crisis:  UN vs. Aliens.  We started off our conference with Ms. Sara Poehlman, Chief of Education for UNICEF, Senegal—what a special honor!  A LOUD shout out to Secretary General Vivienne Schell and the entire dias for all of their hard work to coordinate and execute the conference:  Sophie Katz, Nolan Meier, Rohan Tatlow, Andrew Duncan, Maya Karson, Noah Baer, Fiona Johnson, Owen Kunce, Halley Epstein, Eva Gerhart, Pasquelle Reyes, Elina Hart, MJ Webb, Abby King, Max VanLeeuwen, and Alexandra Ezrow.  Thank you to our High School Model UN alum who assisted with chairing, planning, and prep:  Charlotte Mendelson, Anjali Dave, Maia Riggs, Max Washington, Masha Pavolva, Cecelia Grant, Samara Cuaresma, Sophie Schell, and Zoe Fisher.  And many thanks to Ms. Neal for her support, Ms. Dillard and the Custodial Team for all the communication, set up and prep, and the classroom teachers who shared their space!  So much admiration for TEAM ADMUN!!!!  WAY TO GO TEAM!
