8th Grade World Language Trips Are ON!
8th grade families, Deal recently received provisional approval to plan international trips for the spring of 2023. This means our 8th grade world language trips to Costa Rica, France, and Taiwan are on for April break. How exciting! Additional details and sign-up information will be shared soon, but please take a moment to learn more about this fun opportunity.
As part of Deal's commitment to inspiring excellence, curiosity, and compassion in our students, Deal Middle School will once again plan optional international trips as a supplement to our world language program. 8th grade students enrolled in Spanish, French, Chinese, or Spanish Humanities will have the opportunity to join their designated trip. These trips are entirely optional, funded by families, chaperoned by Deal staff, and open only to 8th grade students in good academic and behavioral standing. We find these trips to be a power experience for all involved.
Deal will host an interest meeting for families in-person at Deal at 6:30 pm on Thursday, October 5th. Sign-up information will be shared in the coming weeks and the deadline to sign up is December 26. These trips have limited space and are first come, first served, so we encourage families to sign up as soon as they are able. If you know you want to participate in the trip, you do not need to wait until the interest meeting to register.
