8th Grade World Language Trips

We recently received provisional approval to plan international trips for the spring of 2023. This means our 8th grade world language trips to Costa Rica, France, Thailand, and Guatemala are ON for April break!

As part of our commitment to inspiring excellence, curiosity, and compassion in our students, we will once again plan optional international trips as a supplement to our world language program. 8th grade students enrolled in Spanish, French, Chinese, or Spanish Humanities will have the opportunity to join their designated trip. These trips are entirely optional, funded by families, chaperoned by Deal staff, and open only to 8th grade students in good academic and behavioral standing.

We will host an interest meeting for families in-person at Deal at 6:30 pm on Thursday, December 1. Sign-up information will be shared in the coming weeks and the deadline to sign up is December 20. The trips have limited space and are first come, first served, so we encourage families to sign up as soon as they are able. If you know you want to participate in the trip, you do not need to wait until the interest meeting to register.
