6th Grade Individuals and Societies Field Trip This Week

Our 6th grade Individuals and Societies classes are studying the history of the world’s three major monotheist religions as part of Unit 3: The Middle East and North Africa.

The Geography team teachers are excited that we will have a field trip to learn more about the three religions of the Middle East by visiting a place of worship for each, here in DC!  Students will visit a mosque, a synagogue, and a church to learn from religious leaders in the space. Students will look at the architecture, and learn more about the customs and traditions while in the respective spaces. Thank you so much to those who have sent in the signed permission slip and $10! Parents/Guardians can reach out to their child’s team Geography teacher with any questions!
