Notification of Parents’ Right to Know Statewide Testing Participation

The Federal “Every Student Succeeds Act” (ESSA) requires school districts to notify parents of their right to request information about statewide assessment participation. As such, we are sharing the “Notification of Parents Right to Know Statewide Testing Participation” to the families of all Deal students who will be taking the OSSE mandated assessments (PARCC, DC Science, MSAA, DLM, and ACCESS and Alternate ACCESS). Information regarding each assessment’s administration schedule will be shared in future bulletins as we near the respective assessments.
