December Service in Action

Grade-level teams have engaged in Service in Action during the month of December. A core value of an IB MYP school is student participation in service. This service can look very different. Everything from traditional canned food drives, to raising awareness of an issue and possible solutions are examples of students at IB MYP schools putting service into action. Service in action also cultivates a sense of belonging, one of our core SEL competencies. From Kindness Trees to peace cranes, our students have demonstrated care, thought, and intention behind their service.
