ADMS Community Project Fair

All 8th graders at an IB-MYP school complete a Community Project as a capstone to their middle years experience. For this project, students think about their communities and the issues facing those communities. Students then take action to positively impact those communities. This year, any student that is holding a collection drive will be featured at our Alice Deal Community Project Fair on March 26 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.  Please see the list below and stop by to drop off items!

  • canned goods

  • dried beans and grains

  • whole grain cereal

  • clean, used clothing

  • art supplies

  • school supplies and book bags

  • young adult books

  • feminine products

  • travel sized toiletries

  • toothbrushes

  • deodorant

  • hairbrushes

  • towels and machine washable blankets

  • dog/cat beds

  • animal toys

  • canned dog/cat food

  • dog/cat leashes/harnesses

  • small plants in pots for a mental health calming room

  • small bench or seat

  • shelf for books

  • bedding

  • medical supplies (bandaids, etc.)
