Thankful Thursday: Gift a Gift, Receive a Gift, Support RISE

This past Saturday, Deal’s Open House welcomed prospective 6th graders. During the Open House, Deal students led tours to showcase the school, answer questions about middle school, and extend an early welcome to soon-to-be 6th graders and their families.

Over the summer, the rising 6th graders will have an opportunity to spend nearly a week at Deal, through the RISE program – which is entirely funded by the ADCA. During RISE, students learn about the expectations of the International Baccalaureate program, the clubs and sports Deal has to offer, and start to make new friends outside of their elementary school.

Together, the Open House tours and RISE help ease the transition to middle school – and neither would be possible without the Deal community’s donations to the ADCA and Deal students volunteering to serve their community.

Give a Gift, Receive a Gift Campaign:
For the next two weeks, the ADCA is running the Give a Gift, Receive a Gift Campaign.
This week, the ADCA is giving away Deal camp chairs and Italian Bar cappuccino cards:
• The first five donations of $500 will receive a Deal camp chair
• The first five donations of $150 will receive a cappuccino card from Italian Bar (worth 10 cappuccinos each)
